The following letter was sent to MP Carla Qualtough and copied to Delta Optimist:
As my MP I am requesting you to immediately advise the Prime Minister to get tough and I mean tough like his dad did who invoked the War Measures Act in 1970 [Replaced in1988, with the Emergencies Act] using the military and heavy equipment in every location in Canada deemed necessary.
You and your Government look weak and gutless!
To make matters worse the Americans are taking over adding millions of dollars to this so-called protest. I agree with only one thing and that is the PM should not talk to these people there have to be escorted out of our towns by force if necessary …for God sakes they are setting up camps in your front yard in Ottawa and your government does nothing?
You heard the cry from the Ottawa’s Chief of Police, they do not have the resources so help them before we have a day like the Americans. I know I speak for thousands of Canadians so please, as our current government, use the powers you have been given and protect us as required.
Unvaccinated individuals who get COVID-19 should be denied access to our medical system!!
