Just over four years ago I was admitted to the Delta Hospital emergency department with a very concerning wound on my left foot. Just within the last week my foot is back to normal with the foot and all toes intact.
Since I have spent so much time in Delta Hospital I want to confirm that the care and assistance I received there was always polite, considerate, professional and top notch.
Particularly I want to thank Matt in the IV clinic who has bandaged my foot more times than I can count, and gave me antibiotics that saved me from further and more serious problems.
As well thanks to Dr. Gilchrist and Dr. Tan who regularly applied their knowledge to eventually get my foot healed.
Then there is all of the nurses and support staff, dealing with hundreds of people every day and encountering every issue the human body can generate. They do that with care and consideration no matter who you are, or what ails you. I don’t know how you do it but I really appreciate what you do.
As an observer on the inside for four years I can tell the people of South Delta we have a fantastic little hospital with very capable and caring individuals inside, so support them when you can.
