Makes sense to put density in Tsawwassen’s town core

First off for those who don’t know, if the public was consulted for every early proposal a developer dreamed up, there would be no Tsawwassen in any way, shape or form. Due process will give the public a say in due time.

I am a big fan of densification in the town core. If we want to turn into a chopped up Richmond, we should support the proposed townhouse development on 8A Avenue and watch as all the hydro properties along 53A Street get bought up for townhouse speculation.

Wouldn’t you love to drive down 53A Street beside a row of three-storey townhomes from 16th Avenue to 6th Avenue? If we allow densification away from the town centre, it will open the door to random developments in the middle of our neighbourhoods we all so cherish.

PS: I thought the Four Winds brewery/restaurant was an awesome idea.
