Unfortunately your picture of the location of this project is out of date. While the school grounds to the south are still as viewed, the vacant property towards 116th is no longer vacant but occupied by a number of newer DETACHED homes.
As of interest, the closest strata to the south is at 84th Ave.--to the north 96th Ave.(1 only). There are no strata properties to the west and to the east 117A St. (2 blocks off Scott Rd.)
This project is totally at odds with both the Official Community Plan and the North Delta Future Land Use Plan. I attended the Council meeting in person and was shocked to hear nothing from our Councilors (except Lois Jackson) with respect to this project being proposed for an area surrounded by single family detached homes.
