Public shouldn’t fund choice to attend private school

I too would be interested to know if these articles were paid for by those promoting private schools.

What interests me more is why the public funds private schools at all. If I need, say, knee surgery and can't deal with the wait time, it is my choice to go and pay for a private facility to do my surgery just as it is a choice for a family to go to a private school.
