While you no doubt believe firmly in your comment with respect to Conservative Kerry-Lynne Findlay and the 2015 federal election, it tends to overlook that the radio towers concerned Point Roberts, a community of the United States, and, therefore, outside the jurisdiction of Findlay.

A close examination of what Delta's MP's responsibilities and her contacts with American counterparts will reveal that there was very little Findlay could have done beyond what she did for her constituents.

Inasmuch as your comment suggests, strongly, that Findlay could have and should have twisted American arms, such is simply foolish and reveals an ignorance about treaty agreements and international arrangements vis-a-vis transmitting stations.

More to the point, Findlay's loss can be and ought to be contributed to the well-known interference in the federal election by nefarious foreign-funded associations whose sole object was to deny Canada a competent government and to replace Findlay with another candidate who has shown true allegiance to the true Liberal functions which are spelled out clearly in the Liberal Party of Canada's Constitution. It states, "The purpose of the Party is to  participate in the public affairs of Canada by endorsing and supporting Registered Liberals as candidates of the Party for election to the House of Commons, advocating and supporting Liberal values and philosophies, principles and policies ... and raising money in support of these purposes."

Interestingly, no definition of those referenced "values, philosophies, principles and policies" is given. Thus, the electorate are left to guess and when they guess wrong, as voters did in 2015, all hell breaks loose and Canada loses, big time.

Now, compare the Conservative Party of Canada's Constitution which states, clearly at page 1: "A belief in a balance between fiscal accountability, progressive social policy and individual rights and responsibilities." Clear, concise and correct.

Again, when the voters of Delta succumbed to the siren song of socialism and marked their choice for a Liberal, they revealed the shallowness of their understanding and now we all pay the price for that foolishness.
