The upcoming civic election would be a good time to get some new and younger blood on Delta council. It’s time for a change.
I feel the old guard has become complacent like taking a trip to the Netherlands, only to find out we should be named the City of Delta. What about the trip to Ottawa to see about the replacement of the George Massey Tunnel? Wouldn't a meeting with our MP be a lot cheaper?
I think if the old guard is voted back in they will most likely have to plan a trip to Los Vegas to see how they handle having a casino in their city.
Please turn the old guard out to pasture. There is still a lot of volunteer work they can do but they won't get paid for it.
