Delta council and Boundary Bay residents have conspired to ban street parking in Boundary Bay, turning a public beach into a private beach.
They claim there is a huge problem with cars using up all their street parking on weekends. I live in Tsawwassen and use the beach three times a week. On weekdays the beach is almost empty and on weekends there is still lots of parking.
I suffer from chronic pain and can only get there by car. Vancouver has a massive population and has allowed generous street parking from Spanish Banks to UBC. The beaches at Boundary Bay belong to all Delta residents, not Boundary Bay alone.
