I just wanted to say what a happy experience it was doing my Christmas shopping in Ladner.
Every store I went into I would find the staff helpful and friendly. No parking problems. No long line-ups. Lots of bargains and the choice was amazing.
My family gets ever bigger, but there was something for everybody's taste: Plenty of good-quality books and toys for the little ones; kitchy kitchenware for the cooks; bulbs and garden-stuff for the keen gardeners; gourmet foods for the foodies. There were cozy hats and heated socks for the outdoorsy types and finding clothes with sparkle for the holiday season was no problem.
Everyone was really pleased with their gifts. If you can't find exactly what you want for the more difficult members of the family, you can always hit the liquor store!
It's good to shop at home. These retailers pay taxes that support our health care and our children's education. They help to provide uniforms for sports teams and contribute to community events.
I know where I'll be Christmas shopping in 2015.
