Huge kudos to MLA Vicki Huntington for stepping up to find out why the rebuilding of the footbridge at Ladner Harbour Park is taking so long.
And shame on the Corporation of Delta for not getting the permits for the rabbit management plan before spending $60,000 of our money to provide meals on wheels for the coyotes and eagles that are looking much healthier these days.
For the past two years we have been trying to get information about the bridge replacement from Delta, which sent us to Metro Vancouver, which sent us back to the Corporation of Delta, which sent us to an environmental office in Surrey for whom it had no address or e-mail information.
Thank you very much to our MLA for bringing this forward and we hope to enjoy this extended walkway on the footbridge along the lagoon trail very soon.
