His work, hosted by Delta Arts Council, will be on display at the Spice Road Market, on Saturday, July 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. View landscape panoramas of the Indian Himalaya, specifically the Ladakh and Zanskar regions.

A freelance photographer and fillmmaker who lives and works in the beautiful Vancouver area, Eoghan got started carrying too much camera equipment on wilderness trips to some of the remote places in the world. Over the past decade, many adventures have followed in some of the amazing places on this earth including a solar powered filming trek across the Zanskar region of India and a double helicopter evacuation in 96 hours from Baffin Island.

The scenery changes and desire to capture truly spectacular imagery increases so
the equipment carried gets heavier. Currently, he uses digital SLRs, 2k professional video, and the Hasselblad XPAN and Fotoman 617 medium format panoramic film cameras.

The Delta Arts Council has arranged further displays of his pieces from his Ladakh and Indian collection at the Ladner Pioneer Library (4683 51 St.) and the Tsawwassen Library (1321A 56 St.) throughout the entire month of July. Include an excursion to both Delta libraries to see more of his spectacular images.

The Spice Road Market includes food sampling, a competition between chefs who will be challenged to create a traditional Indian dish using only a selection of vegetables provided by Earthwise Farm (you vote for your favourite!), bhangra dancers, mehndi art, traditional Indian art activities for children and more.

Don’t forget to visit the Delta Libraries’ tent for a children’s activity.
