Rumour has it Kevin Costner has chosen Ladner for a sequel to his 1987 film No Way Out.
In that fast-paced thriller, Costner played a naval officer desperately trying to keep ahead of Defence Department heavies trying to pin a murder on him.
By contrast the pace of the new film will be dramatically slower. Costner plays a Ladner commuter trying to make it through the George Massey Tunnel during the morning rush. The working title of the film is One Lane Out.
