I find it very strange that Delta council can call an emergency meeting on traffic congestion when it involves maybe four per cent of the population of Delta. But as I read further into the article, I see that Coun. Ian Paton is again only supporting four per cent of the population he was elected to support and getting things done for the chosen few.
Now wouldn't it be nice if we could all benefit from council and have the same support on congestion on the roads in Delta as Paton gives to the chosen few.
If that ever happened there would be no stopping us from getting the federal or the provincial government to get up off of their duff and get something done to help Delta on the way to solving the congestion problem for the benefit of all the citizens of Delta.
