Re: Ship damages coal port dock, Dec. 12
My wife and I live within sight and earshot of the coal port. When repairs are made to the dock, we feel it would be the perfect opportunity to make sure this giant-sized conveyor is completely enclosed.
This would help eliminate three problems: . My wife would have a lot less of that black dust to sweep up from the sundeck and various other parts of the house.
. The noise from the coal loading would be reduced.
. The next time a ship hits the conveyor maybe no coal would be dumped in the water.
