In the article we have the Mayor, MP and various officials on public payrolls smiling to celebrate that they have "lifted" a total of over $10 million out of our pockets to ease the traffic to and from Boundary Bay Airport.

All of this is necessary because the port wants to run more trains down the track and doesn't want "conflict" with cars. The port tossed in $4.8 million, thus forcing the taxpayer to pay $10 million.

What's troubling is that elsewhere, such as the Port Mann Bridge, we are establishing user pay charges. If applied here, the port would pay $15 million. Why not?
