On a typical Monday morning after walking his sisters to school, two-and-a-half-year-old Oliver likes to stand at our gate and wait for his favourite Monday morning excitement - the recycling man.
He waits with anticipation while the truck comes down our street. Our recycling man is the best as he always has a smile, a thumbs up, a toot of his horn and a special hello for Oliver.
However, the last two Mondays he has come later in the day and we haven't hung out waiting for the truck. But lo and behold, the true spirit of Christmas got dropped off at our house yesterday.
Our super awesome recycling guy left a wrapped present in our recycling bin for Oliver. He was sooooooo excited by the recycling truck that was left for him and I was amazed at the gesture.
It really brought out the spirit of Christmas for us and we will be forever grateful to our amazing recycler.
