This is likely preaching to the converted, but I am continually amazed how many cars drive through a crosswalk while someone is crossing or waiting to cross. I believe at least half the drivers do not realize they are breaking a law by doing this. A pedestrian on a crosswalk or waiting to cross has the right of way.
I know we drivers are all in a big hurry, and would prefer to not have to waste 10 seconds of our precious time by allowing some inconvenient pedestrian to cross, but why don't we just relax a little and obey the law, which does exist for a purpose. Capiche?
