Delta is indeed fortunate to have dedicated municipal staff who do their best to serve our community. And when a good idea can be put into place, it is a testament to staff commitment.
Amanda Wu recognized this in her letter last week.
However, I am not the person Wu spoke with, nor the one who called her back.
And while it is true I am a hard-working rookie councillor who tries to get things done, I cannot take the credit she wishes to give me. It belongs to Corporation of Delta staff.
