While the Tsawwassen Springs layout might appeal to those who don't mind playing golf through subdivisions, I do not think the rates will appeal to everyone.
Much has been made about the appeal of the course to seniors, however unlike many nearby courses, there is no senior rate at Tsawwassen Springs. In fact, the rates seem quite high for this type of course.
Certainly they are significantly higher than two nearby full size courses, which, of course, one can choose to play from the "senior" tee boxes.
While the range of rates start at $29, it should be pointed out the lowest rates are fairly close to sundown and therefore makes it more unlikely to get in a full round.
As I have driven by the course it really hasn't seemed busy. While that could be a result of the recent opening, I find it difficult to believe that with the present rate structure and excellent courses only 10 minutes away that there will be a high demand from senior golfers. Certainly not this one.
