Without the very lengthy stonewalling by the anti-Southlands crusaders, the taxpayers' bill could have possibly been much less.
We should have the costs put in context. How much did Ron Toigo's Tsawwassen Springs application cost us? If Delta council wanted to spend money and energy on a serious cause, it should try to stop the construction of the radio towers in Point Roberts for the real benefit of this community.
