Thriving rowing program is already available for high school athletes

There is and it is run by the Delta Deas Rowing Club. We have an expanding junior program, and many of our kids did equally well at the recent B.C. Championships.

It should be noted that one of the kids in Morgan Stade's boat, Jake Elward, was until recently a Delta Deas member.

It would be wonderful to have a high school program but despite repeated overtures from the club to the school district over the years, we have been unable to get it interested in taking it on.

Despite this, we run a great junior program and are always looking for more kids to come out and try this amazing sport.
