KRPI consultant Andrew Skotdal states that all the complaints have been resolved, except for a handful, and that those issues (prior to 2006), as far as the FCC was concerned, were appropriately and ultimately addressed by BBC. Lawyer Linda Atkins makes the same claims.

But if all of the Ferndale interference issues have been satisfactorily resolved as Skotdal and Atkins claim, why is BBC/KRPI spending the money to move the towers to Point Roberts?

Skotdal also refers to the 50,000-watt CBU tower in Richmond. My wife and I lived 0.68 kilometres from that tower for eight years and I can assure you that despite many attempts, Telus and Shaw Cable were unable to resolve the interference issues.
