Towers proposed for Point also pose health concerns

Perhaps others are as worried as myself about the proposed radio transmitter in Point Roberts.

After hearing MP Kerry-Lynne Findlay's comments regarding the blanketing effects from the KRPI border blaster, I must express my concerns to emphasize it is more serious than just the blanketing interference to our electronic devices and reduced property values. It is the health of 20,000 people who will be irradiated 24/7 for years and years by 50,000 watts of electromagnetic energy from a directional antenna aimed at South Delta only 300 metres distant.

This is not acceptable to any reasonable person and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that bad effects will happen to human beings subjected to this continuous irradiation.

Please, Findlay, I ask you again and your Conservative government to consult with the U.S. and its Federal Communications Commission to eliminate this threat to Canadians' health.
