Voters in Delta South fail to figure out it's unwise to elect a voice in the wilderness

Editor: You have got to be kidding? Vicki Huntington again? Do residents of South Delta go through a time warp every time they enter or exit the tunnel? Has the past four years proved nothing? Yes, Huntington has done a lot of chirping and not missed

You have got to be kidding? Vicki Huntington again?

Do residents of South Delta go through a time warp every time they enter or exit the tunnel? Has the past four years proved nothing?

Yes, Huntington has done a lot of chirping and not missed a photo-op, but other than the residents of South Delta, her cries in the wilderness have fallen on deaf ears no matter how she tries to spin it. No one was listening in Victoria.

She has had, and will have for another four years, absolutely no effect on anything. No one in government is listening to her so good luck South Delta getting any perks or support.

Please do not interpret this as an attack on her personally but rather an attack on how ineffective an independent MLA is in B.C. One would think the voters in South Delta were a little smarter than that.

Obviously not.

So now that the election is over we can all go back to doing what we do best... dragging the Southlands debate on for another 10 years.
