I'm in total agreement with Mark Sakai's comments.
I do my best to shop locally whenever possible. It baffles me, though, that I still find a need to take visitors to White Rock or Steveston for an outing when there's the potential for "charm and ambiance" by the water, right here in Ladner and Tsawwassen.
You can't even go for a coffee at the terminal unless you're boarding a ferry.
Hopefully I'll see this "unpolished gem" sparkle in my lifetime.
