Entries almost double in Junior Authors contest

Young writers from around the province were invited this summer to send in stories for Delta's fourth annual Junior Authors Short Story Contest. A record 80 entries were received from 16 municipalities ranging from Vancouver Island to the Cariboo.

Delta Hospital's 'Mini-Home' finds new home with winner in Ladner

The Delta Hospital Foundation picked the winning ticket in its Mini-Home Lottery this week. With over 2,000 tickets sold and almost $15,000 in sales, the farmthemed family activity centre has found its permanent home with Susan Norton-Kiss of Ladner.
