Dogs have been trained to help people in many ways.

Their service includes hearing, guiding, mobility, medical alert, search and rescue, detection, and emotional support.

There are also facility dogs. They have learned to assist both victims and witnesses experiencing trauma-induced anxiety.

Do you want to meet your very own community's Justice Facility Dog Puma?

Register for this informative program at the Ladner Pioneer Library on Tuesday, April 16, from 6 to 6:45 p.m. when Puma's handler and Justice Facility program coordinator Kim Gramlich will share the multiple ways this golden retriever's job supports victims of crime and trauma in Delta.
