Drive-in movie returns

A drive-in movie night will once again be part of the Tsawwassen Sun Festival lineup. The throwback-style event was a new addition to last year's festival and garnered a lot of positive feedback, says Sun Festival coordinator Elaine Campbell.

A drive-in movie night will once again be part of the Tsawwassen Sun Festival lineup.

The throwback-style event was a new addition to last year's festival and garnered a lot of positive feedback, says Sun Festival coordinator Elaine Campbell.

"Everyone had a really good time. It was a great success and a fun, family event," she says.

The drive-in movie, set for Sunday at Beach Grove Elementary, is presented by the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen.

Pre-book free tickets online at www.sunfestdrivein.com. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie, Star Wars Rogue One, starts at dusk.

Popcorn will be available, but for food moviegoers are encouraged to pack a picnic.

There will also be a 50/50 draw with proceeds going towards the local Rotary Club's community initiatives.

Beach Grove Elementary is located at 5955-17A Ave.
