The annual Seedling Sale at West Coast Seeds had to be cancelled this year due to public safety concerns.

The sale usually draws a large crowd, which is something to avoid during a pandemic.

This year’s sale was intended to raise funds for Deltassist Family & Community Services Society, and though West Coast Seeds couldn’t sell the seedlings, it did make the predicted donation.

Happily, the hundreds of certified organic vegetable and herb seedlings were donated to Earthwise Society to raise funds through its Grow Your Own Pizza Toppings event.
