Celebration: last chance to see show before Christmas

Show concludes Dec. 19 at Gallery 1710 in Tsawwassen
Arts Guild show
Artists Leah Terpsma (left) and Jocelyn Brown have interpreted the same scene, one in oils and the other in watercolor. See their work at Gallery 1710 until Dec. 19.

Local artists have a superlative show at Gallery 1710 in Tsawwassen currently showing until Dec. 19.

Landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, as well as portraits - all painted with the love of color. Just a tip to the art lover, you will not be disappointed when you see this display.

Abstracts are glowing in the foyer, birds, horses and other animals, whales, flowers shining in the gallery. Just bring yourself and a friend and enjoy.

Some artists work from photos. Two artists have interpreted the same scene – one in oils, and one in watercolor.

Art in other forms is also a gallery addition - bird houses and ceramic turtles are on display. Just check the display cases to see what people have created. Ornaments for the tree can also make your Christmas bright – all created by our artistic friends.

This is the last show of the year.

The gallery, (1710 56th Street) is located next to the ice rink at the South Delta Recreation Centre and is open Friday to Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
