Several South Delta all-candidates meetings that are open to the public have already been scheduled:
The Delta Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all-candidates meeting at the SDSS theatre on Wednesday, April 19, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Chamber members and the public are invited to submit written questions to the chamber prior to the meeting by email to [email protected], by fax to 604-946-5285, or by mail (6201 60th Ave., Delta, BC V4K 4E2), or in person, up to 3 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Written questions will also be accepted from the floor at the meeting. The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver is the event sponsor and Delta Optimist the media partner.
The Council of Canadians Delta-Richmond chapter has an all-candidates’’ meet scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at the Ladner Community Centre, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The Friends of Delta Hospital are hosting an all-candidates’ forum on Saturday, April 29 at Tsawwassen United Church (693 53 St.) at 2 p.m. The event will focus on the state of healthcare in South Delta.
