DPD calls for service for the week of March 21 to 27, 2022

Number of General Occurrence Reports created: 435
False/Abandoned 911 calls: 59
Assist the public: 68
Collisions: 18
Break & Enter: 4
Fraud: 2

It doesn't take long for scammers to come up with a new scam. Most recently, scammers are using the provincial gas rebate as the carrot that they are dangling to potential victims. ICBC has released a statement that they are not issuing this rebate by text or email. If you receive an email or text claiming to be ICBC - delete.
