Some of Delta’s best designers and builders are up for HAVAN Awards for Housing Excellence.
Earlier this month, the Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) announced the finalists for the 2021 awards in a special online ceremony.
Sarah Gallop Design Inc. (SGDI) a complete home design and interior design firm based in Tsawwassen, has been honoured with 11 nominations including Interior Designer of the Year.
In collaboration with builder partners four of SGDIs nomination are for three homes located in Delta:
• Finalists for Best Renovation $400,000 - $699,999 and Best Bathroom Renovation Under $35,000 were named to SGDI with Kemp Construction Management Ltd.
• Best Renovation $400,000 - $699,999 finalist goes to a collaboration between SGDI and Best Builders Ltd.
• Best Outdoor Living Space named to SGDI and Best Builders Ltd. for a beautiful modern waterfront home built in Tsawwassen.
• Best Builders Ltd. is in the running for Custom Home Builder of the Year.
Kemp Construction’s project in Boundary Bay – What’s Old Is New Again – is a finalist in two categories: Best Bathroom Renovation: Under $35,000 and Best Renovation: $400,000 - $699,999.
According to Kemp Construction, the renovation added 1,000 square feet to the existing home using a panellized wall system constructed offsite and assembled locally. The new space went up in just one day and accelerated the building schedule.
The HAVAN Awards for Housing Excellence, presented by FortisBC, place a spotlight on the accomplishments of Metro Vancouver’s homebuilding industry.
