Delta Police hosting Garage 529 event in Tsawwassen

People have from Wednesday to Thursday, March 27-28, from 1 to 5 p.m., to register their bikes at the district community police office in Tsawwassen at 1247B – 56th St., and get on to the Garage 529 program.

Cyclists scared about having their beloved two wheels ripped off can ride a bit more easily if they sign on to Delta Police Department’s Garage 529.

People have from Wednesday to Thursday, March 27-28, from 1 to 5 p.m., to register their bikes at the district community police office in Tsawwassen at 1247B – 56th St., and get on to the Garage 529 program.

Garage 529 is a bike registration system that uses tamper-resistant decals to track and shield bikes from potential theft.

There are more than 400 law enforcement agencies, universities, and bike clubs/shops that use the Garage 529 app.
