Let’s head back to check out a throwback in the 1959 pages of the Optimist where a photo ran of the old Boundary Bay School taken earlier in the century.
The old building, located on Boundary Bay Road opposite Herd Road, was sold by the Delta School Board to the Boundary Bay Co-Operative Association which used it as a community hall for years.
In early 1959, the association sold the property for commercial development and the old school was about to be torn down.
