Four Winds Brewery has closed for the weekend as a pre-cautionary measure after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The popular Tilbury business operates a restaurant and tasting room from its 72nd Street location. The plan is to re-open on Monday, March 29. Customers were notified of the closure Saturday on Four Winds Instagram page:

“We have made the decision to close today and tomorrow (March 27th & 28th) as one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19.

Public health authorities have told us there is/was no risk of exposure to our guests because our employee was off work during the incubation period.

“We have been instructed by Fraser Health that we can stay open, but out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to instead close and do a deep clean today.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to serving you again in the very near future.”
