The Block Watch program helps build safer communities.

In addition to being offered at no charge, neighbours involved in the program have the potential to have a reduction in their home insurance.

To start a Block Watch program in your neighbourhood, have a Block captain come into any of Delta's District Community Police Offices (addresses listed below) to request a Block Watch package.

The Block captain will be the go-between Delta Police and neighbours.

The captain will be required to get participating neighbours email addresses, and send quarterly newsletter to the neighbours.

A sign indicating that the neighbourhood is part of the Block Watch program will be erected.
