South Delta Ice Hawks captured the Atom Division title in convincing fashion at the SDMHA Party In Da House Tournament.

The team rolled a perfect 4-0 record, outscoring their opponents 19-12 in the process. The impressive run was capped by a gutsy performance at both ends of the rink against the Green Scorpions in Sunday's final.

In their opening game, the Ice Hawks battled to a 4-2 win over the Wolverines. Ian Graham scored a hat trick with one of the tallies set-up by Jovan Uppal. Evan Davies was named game MVP.

The Ice Hawks managed to squeak out a 3-2 win over the Dark Knights with goalie Charlie Bagnall-Dubras getting the nod as game MVP.

In the final round robin game, the boys showed great teamwork with goals from Aldo Braico, Sajan Uppal, and Davies who got the go ahead marker with 1:54 remaining in a 5-4 win over the Dark Knights again to advance directly to the final. Blueliner Nolan Jakubec took home the game MVP.

The final proved to be a nail-biter.

Trailing 4-2 midway through the second period, the Ice Hawks finally got rolling with goals from Stephen Bailey (assisted by Griffin Nicholson) and Aiden Kolebaba.

Great defensive play by Lukas Marriott, Cole McGregor, Taylor Katsube and Blake Clutterham helped shut out the Scorpions in the third period. An empty goal sealed a 7-4 win. Erik Van Breemen was named game MVP.

This amazing group of players is led by head coach Dave Clutterham and assisted by Rick Dubras, Colleen Katsube, Brent Graham, and Jonathan Jakubec. The team manager is Virginia Davies.
