The Delta board of education selected two-term trustee Laura Dixon as its new chairperson Tuesday. Dixon replaces Dale Saip, who recently announced he wouldn't seek another year as chair after four years in the position. Dixon, who thanked Saip for his leadership, experience and insight, said good news would be coming from the district soon regarding its annual achievement contract.
