Tsawwassen's Adam Musil will be playing for Team B.C. at this weekend's 2012 Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup in Calgary.

The 15-year-old forward, who spent a number of years in the South Delta Minor Hockey rep system, was selected sixth overall by the Red Deer Rebels in last spring's Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. He is currently playing for the Greater Vancouver Canadians of the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League.

Last season, Musil shifted over to the powerhouse Burnaby Winter Club for his final year at the Bantam rep level where he had a leading role in the team winning the provincial and Western Canadian championships.

The 6-foot-1, 184-pounder finished with 98 points in 60 games, including 58 goals.

The Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup will feature a four team - B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba - round-robin format and is the first step in the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence.
