Delta South MLA Ian Paton spoke about the delays in the Massey Tunnel replacement as the Legislature resumed on Monday in Victoria.
BC Liberal MLA for Delta South Ian Paton says while $40 million in lighting upgrades are a small improvement to the Massey Tunnel, they won’t address the seismic safety issues or traffic bottlenecks which continue to plague the aging structure.
Paton raised these concerns in the Legislature Monday, noting his constituents are running out of patience with the NDP’s countless delays on replacing the tunnel.
