. May 3, 4: 48 p.m., 1200-block of 56th Street: Complainant reported a note with a licence number was left on her car in the supermarket parking lot indicating a vehicle had backed into her vehicle.

Police attended the home of the suspect who was shocked and unaware he had hit another vehicle. Damage to both vehicles observed by police.

. May 3, 10: 26 p.m., Boundary Bay Road and 12th Avenue: A white Mercedes was reported travelling at a high speed in the area. The same vehicle was observed later by Crime Watch speeding southbound on 56th Street. Police located the vehicle and advised the guardian of the driver of the complaints involving her Mercedes. Police had a discussion with the driver of the vehicle regarding his driving behaviour.

. May 4, 3: 10 p.m., Centennial Beach: Police attended on request of Canada Coast Guard to assist a stranded female on a paddle boat. Upon arrival the female had made it to shore safely and declined medical assistance.

. May 4, 4: 44 p.m., 1200block of 56th Street: The ladies wear shop reported a male had stolen clothing from the discount rack outside the store and fled on a bicycle. Area patrol of the area proved negative.

. May 4, 7: 18 p.m., 5500block of 1st Avenue: Police located several youths in the park playing loud music and drinking. A dog was also off leash challenging other dogs. A verbal warning was given to the youths regarding open alcohol and loud music in public and they were advised that the dog must be kept on a leash. All parties were cooperative with the police and left the area.

. May 4, 9: 16 a.m., 4500-block of 47th Street: Complainant reported someone had carefully removed the driver side mirror, valued at $750, from his vehicle while it was parked roadside in front of his residence.

May 4, 5: 30 p.m., 3500block of River Road West: Police responded to a report that complainant had towed in a black hockey bag containing a heavy closed garbage bag found floating in the Fraser River. Police opened the bag but found only garbage and the weight was due to the bag being waterlogged.

. May 5, 2: 03 p.m., 5300block of Crescent Drive: Police received a call that a car was parked with its door open and gas cap off.

A Dell monitor was also on the ground by the vehicle.

Police spoke with the owner of the vehicle, who indicated that nothing was stolen from the vehicle and the monitor was from the vehicle. There was no damage to the vehicle or signs of forced entry.
