Delta police are reporting an increase in impaired drivers this week.
In their weekly update on Facebook, DPD say officers reported an increase in Immediate Roadside Prohibitions (IRP), with officers taking 10 impaired drivers off of Delta roads.
This included: five, 90-day IRP's, one seven-day IRP and three, three-day IRP's.
“DPD has a zero tolerance policy regarding impaired driving. If you're going to consume alcohol and/or drugs do not get behind the wheel of a vehicle,” said DPD.
