Road closures will be in effect Saturday as the 15th annual Delta Triathlon takes place in Ladner.
To ensure the safety of race participants, roads in the civic precinct will be closed along with 44th Avenue and Arthur Drive south of 44th Avenue.
The road closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Delta Triathlon is a short-distance (sprint) race featuring a swim segment at the Ladner Leisure Centre as well as bike and run legs on the streets of Ladner.
It's become a popular event for both adults and youngsters with registration often filling up on the day it opens.
