The 42nd edition of the Tsawwassen Sun Festival promises fun in the sun throughout the B.C. Day long weekend.
The annual summer celebration kicks off tomorrow with softball and volleyball tournaments at Winskill Park, among other activities, and continues Sunday and Monday. This year's festival includes brand new attractions like a Classic Car Show n Shine on Monday and Sunny Sam's Treasure Hunt throughout the weekend.
Returning festival favourites include a children's amusement park, antique fair, skateboard competition and fireworks display.
The parade, a highlight of the festival, takes place Monday at 11 a.m. It starts at 16th Avenue and heads along 56th Street to Winskill Park.
