. June 14, 9: 56 a.m., 6400-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Late report from complainant that she had left her wallet on top of the pump at the gas station. When she returned it was gone. Video surveillance shows a red/tan truck with a white male driver, approximately 50 years old with white hair, placing the wallet in his sweater pocket while filling his truck before leaving the station.

Incident still under investigation.

. June 14, 11: 10 p.m., 5000-block of 48th Avenue: Unknown male and female in a four-door Dodge pickup were observed taking items from the donation bins at the thrift shop.

Police investigated but incorrect licence number provided. Area patrols proved negative.

. June 16, 10: 17 a.m., 5600-block of 45th Avenue: Report received of the theft of $250 green Yardworks rechargeable lawn mower from the complainant's carport sometime during the day. The lawn mower was being charged and was visible from the street.

. June 11, 4: 10 p.m., 5900-block of 12th Avenue: Complainant left her bicycle unlocked in the bike rack at the back of the golf course and when she returned the bike was gone. The bike is described as a white Kona John Cowan mountain bike with black markings valued at $1,500.

. June 13, 9: 12 a.m., 00-block of Centennial Parkway: Report received of theft sometime overnight from a vehicle parked in the complainant's driveway. Items stolen include $25 in loonies and a solar-powered, hands-free cell phone system. Entry to the vehicle likely through an unlocked door as there was no damage to the vehicle.

. June 13, 9: 47 p.m., 1200-block of 56th Street: Complainant reported his vehicle's hood been stomped on while he was in the drug store. Two large dents and scratches were left in the hood with an estimated damage of $600.

. June 15, 9: 36 a.m., 00-block of 53rd Street: Vehicle entered and purse containing wallet was stolen. Items in the wallet include debit and credit cards, SIN cards, birth certificates and $60 cash. No damage to vehicle. Credit card used to make several fraudulent purchases. The investigation is still ongoing.

. June 16, 8: 48 a.m., 00-block of 53rd Street: Sometime overnight backpack was stolen from unlocked parked vehicle.

Contents of bag found further down the block but bag and wallet missing.

Investigation revealed several unlocked vehicles in the area had been entered and the name of possible suspect was given. The suspect confessed to the thefts and returned the backpack and wallet. Related incidents still under investigation.
