A new sign welcoming visitors to Ladner Village will soon be installed at the entrance to the downtown core. The old wooden sign at Arthur Drive and Ladner Trunk Road was removed during the recent intersection improvement project.

Some spectators saw some unexpected action Saturday afternoon at the first ever Warbird Fly-in at the Delta Heritage Airpark when one of the vintage planes crashed.

The Delta Heritage Airpark hosted its first ever Warbird Fly-in Saturday. Warplanes from all over Western Canada were invited for the one-day event, including Harvards, T-6s and L-39s.
