The defending provincial champion South Delta Bantam Rams will be well-represented in the upcoming Star Bowl.

The annual tilt brings together the top Bantam age players from the Vancouver Mainland Football League and Valley Canadian Football League.

The VMFL 50-player roster includes: Jack McDonald (running back/defensive back), Thomas Franklin (receiver/defensive back), Ryan von Ende (offensive line/ defensive end), Michael Mann (receiver/ defensive back), Blake Gau (running back/ linebacker) and Lucas Kirk (quarterback/ defensive back).

The game will take place April 20 in Abbotsford.

The Rams capped a dream season with a 37-0 win over Abbotsford back in December to capture the provincial championship. The result came on the heels of a successful run through the VMFL playoffs, highlighted by a 18-0 sem-final win over previous unbeaten North Surrey and a 24-9 triumph against Langley in the title game.
