Delta Sports Hall of Fame announces 2023 inductees

The Delta Sports Hall of Fame supports and recognizes everyone who continues to be involved the sport community within the city.

The Delta Sports Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to welcome the 2023 Sports Inductees,

Sports Champions and Teams to the 2023 banquet Oct. 14 at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn.

The City of Delta is blessed to have such a talented and dedicated group of individuals who

donate their time, passion and commitment for all sports in Delta.

The Delta Sports Hall of Fame supports and recognizes everyone who continues to be involved the sport community within the city.

This year we are pleased to announce that once again there were several exceptional nominations for each category, which are in two categories, the Sport Champions and the Hall of Fame Inductees.

We are pleased to recognize the following in the 2023 Sport Champion Category:

Team: U15 Delta Blue Jays baseball

Coach: Ken Prieslay, hockey

Youth Athlete: Aidan Turner, track

Youth Athlete: Gemma Dumas, track and soccer

Youth Athlete: Sydney Thomas, gymnastics

Athlete: Matt Wilkinson, baseball

Athlete: Brynn Noelle Pasin, volleyball

Athlete: Jayde Robertsen, volleyball

Master Athlete: Corrie Guraliuk, field hockey

Volunteer: Karn Dhillon, basketball
