Golf pro plays 250 holes for ALS

Last month, Rudston-Brown played 250 consecutive holes to in the PGA of B.C. Golfathon for ALS. This is the seventh year Beach Grove has taken part in the event, which raises money to help fund awareness and research into the fatal disease. Also know as Lou Gehrigs disease, ALS is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects a persons motor neurons, which results in weakness and muscle wasting in the arms, legs, mouth, throat and other parts of the body. There is no known cause or cure. Donations can still be made through the pro shop or at www.golfathonforals.ca.
